▲Zen: System-wide open source ad-blocker for Windows, macOS, and Linux (irbis.sh)
bradknowles 17 hours ago [-]
How is this different from just running a standard transparent proxy with a standard adblocking filter?

I mean, we’ve been able to do this for years, right?

What does this bring to the table that we couldn’t do before? Does it make that process a lot easier than we’ve seen so far?

If so, then that’s a valid improvement, and I’d like to see the documentation drilled down on that and compare how this used to be done before and now how Zen makes that a lot easier.

Right now, all I’m seeing on that site is the same old functionality that I’ve seen and known about for years.
